“We have been so impressed with Salvs’ handing of the whole transaction. He is by far and away the most thorough and diligent agent I have ever worked with. He conducts himself with total integrity and was absolutely key to ensuring a swift conclusion while also catering to our needs of being able to meet the school application deadline.”Old Compton Lane, Farnham
“Excellent, as always. Great team in Farnham. Thanks to all. Salvatore was our main negotiator. However, all staff are brilliant. Job well done!”Boundstone Road, Wrecclesham
“I've been blown away by Martin's efficiency. Not only did he find us a buyer over the asking price in 48 hours, his ability to make what can be a very bumpy ride as smooth as possible was invaluable. I would, without doubt, recommend a friend or family member to ignore the other hundreds of estate agents in Farnham and dial into you!”St Peter's Gardens, Farnham
“We'd like to thank you for being so professional throughout the whole process of our house sale and purchase. You consistently managed our expectations, took ownership of the entire chain and made us feel that we were being looked after properly. We'd like to thank the Burns & Webber team for a first class service from start to finish.”Penfold Croft, Farnham
“A great example of a high quality estate agent service! If you value being kept up to date with the progress of your sale/purchase and want someone to help move the process along as well as being able to answer questions on the whole process I would stick with a conventional high street estate agent.”Dukes Close, Farnham
“From start to finish Burns & Webber stood head and shoulders above the other estate agents we contacted. Their valuation was spot-on, their marketing materials were brilliant, and their communications exceptionally good. They are a brilliant company to work with, headed by an infectiously enthusiastic and charismatic manager, Dan Dewar.”Runwick, Farnham
“Oh. My. God. It is amazing. We literally cannot believe our luck and have wandered around pinching ourselves for the last couple of days. I’m not quite sure what we’ve done to deserve it! Thank you to you and your team for making this happen. We literally couldn't be happier.”Bournewood Park
“The advice and support you provided through the price negotiations was invaluable and helped us reach an agreed offer with the seller. A truly exceptional experience from start to finish and I will certainly be recommending you to anyone that asks. Thank you for helping make a stressful process a great deal easier.”Shortheath Road

The Right to Rent legislation rolls out in February 2016, so all landlords and letting agents in England must check the immigration status of their tenants. The new law means that private landlords, including those who sub-let or take in lodgers, must check the right of prospective tenants to be in the country to avoid being hit with a penalty.
Right to Rent was introduced in the Immigration Act 2014 as part of the government’s reforms to build a fairer and more effective immigration system. The current maximum penalty for each tenant found without a right to rent is £3000, but the Immigration Bill 2015 is due to introduce the penalty of up to five years imprisonment.

According to a recent report1, there are nearly 2 million private landlords in the UK, owning 4.9 million homes and against which, over 1.6 million mortgages are outstanding. For 10% of those landlords, over half of their income is derived from rent; for 8%, being a landlord is their full time job.
