This weekend saw the return of the hugely popular annual Prudential RideLondon 100 cycle race, which starts in London and runs through the Surrey countryside before returning to London for the finish on The Mall. Thousands of participants battled through the tail-end of Hurricane Bertha, braving gale force winds, tropical downpours and flash flooding to complete the shortened 86 mile route to raise money for many different charities.

From April 26th 2014, the Mortgage Market Review (MMR) will take effect. One of the main impacts of this legislation is that all mortgages arranged must go through a fully advised process undertaken by qualified individuals.
Surprisingly, a high number of building society and bank staff do not meet the new rules and will no longer be permitted to offer such advice. This will result in lengthy delays for customers even to get an appointment to see a qualified adviser with regards to their mortgage. This current season we Rowledge Cricket Club will be entering 8 youth teams in the Hampshire Youth Leagues. The total membership is about 600 people.
