There are many good reasons to live here, the choice of good schools available at primary and secondary level in the various villages is fantastic. The surrounding countryside is simply stunning with highlights including the Surrey Hills and The Downs Link, which are both accessible to the public for walking, biking and horse riding. These villages offer a wide choice of property, ranging from small country estates to period cottages and more modern homes, in locations which are within a walk of shops and schools, to those that are 'in the middle of nowhere' and are beautiful rural retreats.
I have lived in this area all my life, so working for Burns & Webber in Cranleigh is like a dream come true. I am proud to have worked within the Burns & Webber group for over 10 years, with my formative years spent working in the network's large offices further up the A3 corridor. Those years gave me not only great experience in the business, but also opened my eyes to the steady flow of buyers moving in and around those towns and villages and also out of London. I now put this experience to good use, by 'opening the eyes' of these same buyers to the benefits of Cranleigh and the surrounding villages.
My team and I are well placed to expound on the benefits of living in the area as we all live locally, we have children at local schools and we all enjoy the many social and recreational opportunities that we are so lucky to have on our doorstep. We are also proud of the relationship we have with our clients, which is founded on customer service, honest advice and good humour. If you have a property to sell in Cranleigh or the surrounding villages we look forward to talking with you.

“Great, attentive, personal service. Thanks for selling our house so quickly; and for more than the asking price too.”Stonards Brow, Shamley Green
“We were very happy with the Burns & Webber team - our house sold really quickly and this was in no doubt due to Nick's local knowledge and contacts. Lots of viewings and courtesy so that family life wasn't too disrupted. All of the team came to see the house before taking people round and took interest in the property.”The Green, Ewhurst
“Having moved many times we were delighted that the Cranleigh team were so professional and did everything possible to make what can be a stressful process go so smoothly. The main word is 'team', all the office worked together to bring about the sale and we felt that we could speak to any one of them at any time. 10/10 Burns & Webber!”Broomers Lane, Ewhurst
“You claimed that due to the marketing coverage you have, you would be able to achieve the agreed price and find a buyer within a few weeks. You came up trumps on both counts and expedited a fast completion through the efficiency of your Cranleigh team, many thanks.”Grove Road, Cranleigh
“Thank you so very much for all your efforts selling Ivy Cottage. Your friendliness and understanding of our situation over the past 8 months or so made the whole process so much easier to deal with.”Holmbury St. Mary, Surrey

“The team at Burns & Webber Cranleigh were immediately successful in selling our house having moved it from another Agent that hadn't been able to sell it for us. Caroline kept everyone informed at all times and did exactly what you need from a professional estate agent. I would happily recommend them to anyone wishing to sell in the area.”The Ridgeway, Cranleigh
“Burns & Webber did a great job marketing our house. After a period of little activity with another agent, they were able to secure us a buyer for the house at full asking price on the first viewing. The sale went through within two months with no hiccups, and we were pleased at the swift, efficient service offered by them.”The Common, Dunsfold
“Many thanks to all of you for facilitating such a seamless house sale. It couldn't have been simpler, either the purchasers were the best in the world or the team at Burns & Webber were! Seven weeks from offer to completion has got to be a record!”Guildford Road, Cranleigh
“Nick and the team have been a real pleasure to deal with, and have shown true diligence and professionalism throughout the selling process. Many thanks for all your help.”Skiff Lane, Wisborough Green, West Sussex
Just like when you move home, understanding a few key phrases of the local language saves you getting unwanted surprises or something that you didn’t bargain for. So we’ve prepared a few handy phrases to help you understand the ‘lingo’ on your Moving Home journey.
You employ one estate agent to act in your best interest. They will only charge a fee if they are effective in introducing a buyer that actually completes on the purchase of your home.

In 2007 Burns & Webber became part of the Curchods network of estate agency offices which, having recently expanded 21 Surrey offices, means we can offer you an astonishing profile and marketing reach, as we are now the largest independent estate agent in the county.
Lords are especially well suited to become part of the group as they too focus heavily on providing outstanding customer service. From April 26th 2014, the Mortgage Market Review (MMR) will take effect. One of the main impacts of this legislation is that all mortgages arranged must go through a fully advised process undertaken by qualified individuals.
Surprisingly, a high number of building society and bank staff do not meet the new rules and will no longer be permitted to offer such advice. This will result in lengthy delays for customers even to get an appointment to see a qualified adviser with regards to their mortgage. To achieve their lending targets (15 to 20% higher than last year), it is thought that the building societies and banks will now seek to use intermediaries such... read more

It was an early start for the Burns & Webber Cranleigh Office team on Saturday 2nd August setting up our gazebo at 8am ready for the crowds to start arriving, whilst enjoying bacon sandwiches and a hot cup of coffee! We had a lovely display of properties for sale, our popular competition to enter and, of course, glasses of Pimm's for refreshment.
Our day was busy, with an almost constant stream of visitors! We met lots of lovely people, including past and current clients, who all enjoyed a glass of Pimm's and tried their luck in the 'Guess The Price In 1979' competition.
The show was action-packed as usual, showing off the best the countryside has to... read more
