Property Market Commentary: Autumn 2014

So far, 2014 has been a dynamic year with the ripple effect of substantial activity levels in the London market reaching out to Surrey and the Home Counties.

As we move into the closing stages of the year, we are seeing the upward pressure on prices easing somewhat as the market settles to a more normal heartbeat.  Not a bad thing in our view.

Although we have a substantial share of what is available, there is still a relative shortage of property on the market, but a steady stream of new buyers means we are confident the market will remain strong throughout the remaining part of this year and into 2015.
