“At all times the response from the office in answer to any questions has been prompt and efficient. David gets most credit for getting our move over the line. We took references from 2 former neighbours before deciding which agent we would sign up with - we will be happy to provide references to anyone else that asks.”Wolseley Road, Godalming
“Many thanks for the smooth, friendly and professional service. It was a fairly straightforward purchase, nevertheless we felt we received your best attention at all times and were assured that we were in safe hands with Burns and Webber. We could not fault the service and are thrilled with our new home.”Thursley Road, Elstead
“Burns and Webber's service has been exceptional. They always return calls, they were brilliant during the negotiation process and their assistance and advice was greatly appreciated. Many thanks.”Milford Road, Elstead
“Burns and Webber gave me the highest valuation of all the agents I asked and then sold my property within 72 hours of putting it on the market. Totally professional and helpful every step of the way, making the whole process completely pain free. I cannot recommend them highly enough.”Moors Lane, Elstead
“Robbie Barklem has been fantastically patient and efficient throughout our purchase and we have very much appreciated his cheerful approach. I'd very much recommend Burns and Webber, I'm delighted with their service.”Nightingale Road, Godalming
“No one can do better than to introduce a buyer within two days of initial briefing who had already exchanged contracts on their sale! Both David Driscoll and Adam Boshoff could not have been more helpful throughout. Thanks also to your colleague who first showed Mrs Haines round and spent a long time here on that first visit.”Vendors In Hambledon
“Very impressed with the professional and friendly service we've received from David and his team. Every step of the way they've kept us informed and updated on our sale. I would thoroughly recommend them.”Chalk Road, Godalming
“You helped to make the process feel less hard work than we were expecting. If it wasn't for you showing us Chiddingfold, we more than likely wouldn't have looked at this village. We are really enjoying the village and what it has to offer. You were all very helpful, polite and friendly and we would certainly recommend you to friends.”Petworth Road, Chiddingfold
“We have been buying through you and have been extremely impressed. My responses were dealt with immediately and we were kept in the loop the entire time. I have had a lot of dealings with estate agents in the past, they are usually unreliable and infuriating. Burns and Webber were the exact opposite, I would definitely recommend them.”Franklyn Road, Godalming
“Robbie Barklem (Negotiator) enabled and facilitated dialogue between us and the vendor, which helped clarify both responses and the speed of formal replies to our solicitor. Warm, personable, proactive and responsive, Robbie also displayed genuine empathy. He ensured the speed of the transaction was maximised.”Robin Way, Wormley
Burns & Webber are proud to be sponsoring The Cranleigh Lions Carnival and Fun Day on Saturday 27th June 2015
The Carnival and Fun Day is held in the centre of the village on The Common, with the carnival procession making its way up and down the High Street from 12.30pm. The theme this year is 'Hoorah For Hollywood', so there should be some incredible walking floats and entertainment! The whole event runs from 10am to 4pm and is a fantastic day out for all of the family, with free entry.
The carnival procession will be accompanied by the wonderful music of the two Samba bands that featured last year, Bloco Do Sol and Batala. ... read more

This is not a political commentary. It is simply our view of what we consider will happen in the Surrey property market now that the election is over.
We anticipate a swell in general activity as the brakes come off for many who have held back from moving this spring until the election was over, irrespective of who might have won. Some have held back, fearful of tax changes (especially at the upper levels of the market) and legislation surrounding property ownership and rental. Most however, held back as part of a national knee jerk reaction.

In June, it will be 2 years since the expiry of the last scheme between the insurance industry and the government to provide cover for those properties in high-risk flood areas. Sadly, during this period many homes in the local area suffered in the floods of 2014.
However, there is good news, the Association of British Insurers (ABI) and the Government have been diligently working through the details of the replacement scheme. The new Flood Re scheme is due to be launched this summer.
With Government approval the insurance industry has set up and will manage the not-for-profit scheme that is designed to support domestic properties in... read more
