Location
Situated in the Surrey Hills, Chilworth is an attractive village, which provides a couple of local shops as well as pubs and restaurants, and is surrounded by miles of green hills and open countryside, much of which is all but on the doorstep. Importantly, good local schools include Chilworth Infants (with an Outstanding Ofsted report) and Tillingbourne Junior School. The village also enjoys its own train station and there is a very good gastro-pub (The Percy Arms).
A short car journey however brings you into Guildford with its huge array of shopping opportunities along with entertainment venues including the Surrey Sports Park, Yvonne Arnaud theatre, the cinema and the superb G Live music and events venue and indeed Guildford's commuter station serving Waterloo, while the village itself also has its own train station that connects with Guildford. The A3 and the M25 are also close by while a short drive/bike ride in the other direction will take you out into the heart of the Surrey Hills.
