We understand the original building dates to circa 1690, later extended with a rear two storey addition in the Victorian era. Our clients purchased the property in 2010, then immediately set to on an exhaustive project lovingly and sympathetically restoring their cottage and enhancing its character, whilst making it conform with the comforts of modern day living. Some of the many extensive improvements include upgrading the cellar, replacement of an old lean-to garden room with a magnificent plate glass conservatory and vaulting the ceiling and exposing the beams in the main bedroom to give the room a tremendous character and a wonderful feeling of space.
