Location
Rosebank Cottages is a row of charming period homes that sit in a wonderfully peaceful, semi rural setting on Westfield Common in Mayford. The houses look out over the common at the front, a fact which very much adds to the pleasure of the location. Woking and Guildford town centres are both within very easy reach of the house, Woking going through a program of regeneration currently which has already seen it take on a far more contemporary and interesting feel. Guildford by contrast is the beautiful County town and has a wide collection of well known shops, bars and restaurants that line its historic cobbled High Street and beyond. Just a short walk along the road from the house is the Olive Tree pub and restaurant while Worplesdon station is a mile and a half walk away. Woking station gives one of the best commutes into London that can be found in the South East with a journey time of about 25 minutes. There are excellent schools close by and being on the common means that there are wide open areas of countryside all but on the doorstep.
